Laser Hair Removal

LASER HAIR REMOVAL

Laser hair removal shouldn’t have to be so difficult! On so many occasions we have seen other clinics over complicate this service. At simply clinics we have made this process very simple. We have divided the body into 15 approximate sized areas (please see illustration below). All you have to do is choose which areas you would like and let us do the rest. The price depends on the number of areas you would like covered (see pricing below)

We use a diode laser which far superior to other laser systems and IPL.

Nobody can guarantee you permanent hair removal but what we can guarantee is that we use the very best technology and if our laser can not do the job then no other laser machine can.

Q&A

Laser uses energy from a specific light wavelength to precisely target hair follicles (or more specifically the melanin within them). This will destroy the hair follicle preventing it from growing again. The laser we operate in our clinic (lightsheer duet and infinity) uses patented suction technology making it virtually pain free and more effective at reaching that hair follicle and the melanin.
The lightsheer duet and infinity use a diode laser which is widely regarded as the ‘gold standard’ in hair removal and far superior to most other lasers and ipl systems. In most cases, you should see 25% to 35% hair reduction with each treatment session with up to 95% total hair reduction after only 4-5 sessions
The majority of people and skin types will be suitable for laser hair removal which is very safe when delivered by our highly trained and professional staff. Certain small groups of people may have conditions that may make it unsuitable. You can either call us to discuss this or visit us for a free consultation.
We have invested in one of the leading medical/aesthetic manufacturers (lumenis) and what is widely regarded as the best machine for delivering effective and safe hair removal. Despite this we have found other ways to trim our costs in order to deliver this service to our customers at the best price in the market. remember, we specialise in only one thing – hair removal.
Traditionally laser and IPL hair removal systems have been known to be painful however this has all changed with the advanced technology used within our laser systems. The vacuum on the headpiece reduces the pain sensation making it virtually pain free. You will feel a light pinch and a small amount of heat but that’s all. You can get an idea of how the laser works and feels during your free consultation and patch test.
This varies for each individual. Normally six sessions is the minimum number required and this is why we sell packages of six. Some people may need more, particularly if you suffer with certain medical conditions such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). During your consultation our trained therapists can assess your skin type, hair distribution, density and thickness and give you a better idea of what to expect.
This is required before any treatment. Our therapist will test a small area of your skin with the laser (areas tested will depend on which areas you want treated). This will give us important information about any possible reactions that may occur and will help guide us to the best treatment settings for your skin and hair. Not only will you achieve better results but you will also ensure you are being kept as safe as possible from any adverse reactions. Very few people have problems with the laser and are normally free to go ahead with treatment 48 hours later.
Laser hair removal can be used for any colour skin type. Very dark skin types may need more treatments to achieve satisfactory results but as long as the hair is darker than the skin the laser will be able to successful target the melanin and destroy that hair. Our experienced therapists will use the appropriate settings for your particular skin type and hair colour/density
Yes. We would suggest you wear a tampon but you can have your treatment if you so wish. It might feel slightly more sensitive in the area but the hairs can still be successfully treated.
