The 4 must-have products you need right now!
Due to the recent announcement, lockdown 2.0 will be starting from this Thursday 5th, which means unfortunately the clinics will have to close temporarily. We know that there’s nothing quite like the fresh out of the clinic feeling after a treatment, but rest assured we’re here to help you keep up your skincare routine in the meantime with these 4 hero products from some amazing brands and we’ll be back open again before you know it!
We will be offering skincare & beauty advice throughout Lockdown as well as online consultations which you can book here.
No.1: Dermalogica PreCleanse
Dermalogica PreCleanse is the ultimate product for getting that spa-like experience at home, with the gorgeous scent of olive and kukui oils that deeply cleanses and nourishes the skin at the same time. When applied to dry skin, it instantly melts makeup (including waterproof mascara!), sebum and environmental pollutants away.
It is the perfect first step for your double cleansing routine and is much kinder on your skin and the environment than makeup wipes. Although it is oil-based, it is perfect for all skin types including oily skin, and can be followed by your cleanser of choice.
No. 2 Pure & Cimple superCerum
A new skincare brand that we’ve recently been introduced to, is Pure & Cimple – they use natural and organic ingredients within their products. We love the Pure & Cimple superCerum which contains 20% Pure Vitamin C to help you achieve radiant skin and tackle issues such as acne, rosacea, scaring, hyperpigmentation as well as fine lines and wrinkles.
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that everyone should include in their skincare routine to protect the skin against free radicals that contribute to premature ageing. Due to Vitamin C degrading over time and therefore losing its efficacy, the Vitamin C within this product is isolated from the serum solution and is only activated once you open the bottle yourself to ensure maximum freshness!
Pure & Cimple have partnered with us for our November giveaway in which you can win one month’s supply of superCerum along with other goodies so make sure you check that out to be in with a chance of winning.
No.3 Juliette Armand Brightening Cream
Juliette Armand is one of our favourite brands in the clinic and they have also kindly partnered with us in our giveaway to give away one of their brightening packages!
A great product from the brand is their Brightening Cream, which nourishes and illuminates the skin by regulating the production of melanin to maintain an even tone.
This magic cream also prevents the appearance of blemishes and imperfections and tackles any existing marks – once again perfect for those Maskne break outs. If you’ve not yet read our post on how to combat Maskne, then do so here!
No. 4: Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant
If you’re going to purchase anything from Paula’s Choice, then it should definitely be their hero product, the Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant.
We always harp on about ditching the physical scrubs and opting for a liquid exfoliant instead as they are much better for the skin and this truly is the product to start with if you haven’t yet made the switch.
The lightweight fluid exfoliates dead skin cells both on the surface and deep inside the pores due to the BHA ingredient Salicylic Acid. This ingredient helps with reducing blackheads, blemishes and redness due to its anti-inflammatory properties. This is the perfect addition to your routine to help with those Maskne breakouts that a lot of us are currently suffering from!
The product can be applied with a cotton pad either once or twice daily after cleansing and toning. If applying this in the daytime, ensure that you use sunscreen (as you should always) as liquid exfoliants will make your skin slightly more sensitive to sunlight.
In other news, in light of the new restrictions our clinics are closing, but we’re still trying to stay positive! Make sure you enter our November giveaway via our Instagram page to win a whole host of goodies and keep your eyes peeled for news of our reopening!
