Will I need a course of facials for the best results?
Your skin will look and feel better after your first facial.
However, we advise our Hammersmith clients to have a course of 6 sessions 6 weeks apart as this will give more benefits and longer-lasting skin rejuvenation.
After your initial course of treatment, a monthly touch-up session will then be enough to maintain your glowing complexion.

Will I need any downtime after a Superfacial?
GeneO+ Superfacials contain many active skincare products that work hard to beautify and invigorate your skin. As a result, you may find that your skin is more sensitive than usual after treatment.
One of the ways in which the facial rejuvenates the skin is by bringing fresh blood to the surface. This means that your skin may be a little flushed for a while.
These effects will quickly disappear to reveal a luminous and hydrated complexion.
Will my skin need any extra care before and after a GeneO+ Superfacial?
Using any active skincare containing AHAs, salicylic acid, retinoids, and acne treatment should be avoided for 72 hours before and after your facial to avoid skin irritation.
If your skin is sensitive after the treatment, it is best to avoid anything that will add more heat, like hot baths and showers, gym workouts and saunas for a couple of days.
We always advise our Hammersmith clients to protect their skin from the sun, but this is even more important after your super facial. Avoid sun exposure if you can, but use factor 50 for a day or so if you must go out.
