Say hello to Aqualyx, one of our newest treatments at Simply Clinics. Whilst we already offer multiple fat reduction treatments at our clinics, Aqualyx is the latest non-surgical treatment that combats large, stubborn areas of fat-but through a slightly different method to our current 3D Lipo system.
This treatment works by completely dissolving localised fat in a safe and sterile manner using injections and in some circumstances in combination with external ultrasound. Working out regularly and eating healthily is definitely a continuing trend as we enter 2021, but it’s often the case that although we can be dedicated to this healthy lifestyle, we have areas of our body that just don’t look the way we want them to. Whether it’s a softer stomach area or fat around the legs and glutes, we can target these areas with extra help from Aqualyx!
Our stubborn fat areas can be a pain to get rid of naturally, as fat cells cannot be altered or diminished once they’re stored within fatty tissue. Aqualyx is able to dissolve these fat cells through a process called ‘cavitational adipocytolysis’. The substance within the Aqualyx product dissolves the fat cells, turning them into a soluble substance which is then able to be flushed out by the body over time.

A.Results will be noticeable after just one session, yet we encourage our clients to undergo at least two - five sessions of Aqualyx in order to achieve the desired results. The number of sessions you need will depend on the amount of localised fat you have and the results you’re after.
A.Results from Aqualyx treatment are permanent as the treatment includes a complete dissolving of fat cells. However, lifestyle and environmental factors can affect how long your treatment lasts. To sustain the results of the Aqualyx treatment, we recommend you maintain a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise and a nutritious, balanced diet.
A.This treatment, like all injectable treatments, comes with precautions. The treatment includes injectables, yet the needle used is incredibly fine which minimises any pain. It is performed by our experienced and highly qualified doctor, and therefore the risks are minimal. The treatment is minimally invasive as it’s non-surgical, however there may be some side effects such as swelling, tenderness, redness and bruising on the treated area. These will subside within the few days post treatment. This treatment is not painful, however there may be some mild discomfort post treatment as mentioned through the potential side effects.
