In addition to our Obagi Chemical Peel, we also offer a Mandelic Mesopeel from one of our incredible brands, Juliette Armand.

This peel which, given by the name, contains Mandelic acid, which has numerous benefits for the skin. This magic ingredient enhances skin exfoliation, however due to the fact its peeling effect is only mild, it makes it suitable for all skin types and phototypes.

Mandelic acid stimulates the production of collagen and shows advanced results in the treatment of photo-ageing, by reducing and improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, without causing any irritation.

This treatment is also very effective for skin that is damaged by pigmentation - it works as an effective tyrosinase inhibitor allowing treatment of several types of pigmentation which can be associated with aged or damaged skin.

This Mandelic peel is additionally beneficial for skin that is blemish or acne prone, due to its powerful anti-microbial properties, helping to kill microbes that are associated with acne.

The salicylic acid within the treatment is an effective keratolytic, allowing additional actives to penetrate the skin more effectively.

In comparison to the Obagi Blue Peel, this Mandelic peel is lighter and less abrasive. For best results, we recommend combining this peel with another treatment such as Microneedling or Microdermabrasion.

WHAT CAN BE TREATED

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1How does it work?
All peels use an acid-base to exfoliate the top layer of skin. The higher the concentration of acid, the deeper the peel. The Obagi Blue Peel is a unique blend of salicylic, lactic and glycolic acids. Obagi Blue Peel Radiance allows your therapist to regulate the depth of the peel to remove surface layers of aged and damaged skin. These dead cells are replaced by healthier ones, allowing the skin’s own clarity and tightness to resurface.
2How many treatments do I need?
Your Therapist can advise how many treatments are necessary to give you the desired result. In most cases, between one and six treatments can achieve dramatic improvements for many skin types and conditions. Peels can be performed at 6 to 8 week intervals until the desired goals are reached.
3How soon will I see results?
When your skin has completely finished peeling, you will immediately notice the dramatic results of your newly improved complexion. Your skin’s appearance will continue to improve for the next 4 to 6 weeks, becoming firmer, clearer, smoother, healthier and more youthful.
4Is it painful?
A mild to warm sensation may be experienced for a few minutes whilst skin peel is being applied but is not expected to cause any severe pain.
5How long will it take to recover after the procedure?
After the treatment, the area of skin may be slightly red and tight. Skin will begin to gently peel within 2 to 3 days and can last up to 7 days.
6Can all skin types be treated?
All skin types can be treated safely when before and aftercare advice is followed. Your therapist will advise the suitability of the treatment for darker skin types
