This is because with many laser systems they struggle to differentiate the difference between the pigmentation between the hair follicle and the skin. Other leading laser hair removal technologies such as Alexandrite and Ruby Laser are only suitable for those with lighter skin tones. At Simply Clinics we can treat all skin types. Our 1060 laser system in our Southgate clinic can provide effective hair removal for darker skin tones, something which not all clinics can offer.

Our laser treatment rooms: Our treatment rooms are comfortable and clean, providing everything you need to enjoy your experience and make you feel comfortable.
Our laser machines: We have 805 wavelength machines available in Uxbridge, Bush and Chelsea. In Southgate, we have 805 and 1060. Our 805 machine is safe for photo-types 1-4/5 and 1060 is safe to use on 1-6 (darker skin tones). Similar to the Soprano ICE Titanium, the Lumenis is one of the few systems which cater to all skin types. Before you start your treatment it is important that you first get a patch test to trial the laser on your skin. But don’t worry you can have your first session hours later!
