A non-surgical nose job, also known as non-surgical rhinoplasty, is a procedure performed by an aesthetics practicer using dermal fillers, to change the shape, size and overall appearance of the nose.
The treatment can be used to treat the tip, sides and the bridge of the nose. They can be injected into any area of the nose to help modify its shape. It is the perfect treatment if you are looking to smooth out any bumps, give the appearance of a smaller nose or make the nose look less angular. For wider noses, the filler can be placed within the bridge to give the appearance of a thinner nose.
How does it differ from a traditional nose job?
A traditional nose job involves cutting into the skin and reshaping the cartilage. By using dermal fillers, the skin doesn’t have to be cut into at all – no scissors or dangerous goods used here! Instead, a hyaluronic acid is injected into the nose. A numbing cream is applied to the injected area prior to the treatment to ensure there is minimal (or no) pain! The only feeling you may get is a slight pinch or feel pressure on the nose. Another benefit to using dermal fillers is that there is no downtime and you can walk out from your treatment without any suspecting you’ve had anything done. Not only is there no downtime, but the procedure only takes around 15-30 minutes so you can even get it done in your lunch break! Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a lot more cost effective than getting a traditional rhinoplasty, costing just £280 for 1ml at Simply Clinics!
This option is also temporary so if you get the treatment done and decide that actually you preferred your old nose shape, then the fillers will eventually be broken down naturally by your body, leaving your nose to return to its original shape. The results typically last for 6-9 months and then more filler is needed to retain the new shape.
